Terms and Conditions


For bookings made more than 8 weeks before your arrival a deposit of 25% is required at the time of booking.  We accept bank transfers or PayPal.  Sorry, no cheques.  Bookings cannot be confirmed until your deposit is received.  The balance is due 8 week before arrival.

For bookings made less than 8 weeks before your arrival payment is require in full at the time of booking.  Bookings cannot be confirmed until your payment is received.


Deposits are non-refundable.  If you need to cancel less than 8 weeks before the start of the booked period the balance of your payment can be refunded if:

a) we are able to obtain a new booking for the dates we had confirmed with you.  (We will do our very best to do this, however, if we incur any fees in doing this these will be passed on to you.)

b) there are exceptional extenuating circumstances.  We can’t always control what life is going to throw at us.  If you do have a compelling reason for having to cancel your trip then please do get in touch to let us know and we’ll see what we can do.  (Please don’t be offended if we ask for proof.)

Tourist Tax

We are obliged to add Tourist Tax of €0.50* per person per night to the cost of your stay.  We collect this on behalf of PETR du Segreen and pay the tax to this authority.

Check in/Check Out

Check in is after 4pm and check out is before 11am though we can be flexible.  Please let us know your travel plans.

Personal Liability

You are responsible for your own health and safety whilst on our premises.  Please take care.  We have quite a few steps, stairs and uneven surfaces.  We regret that our accommodation is not suitable for people with restricted mobility, children or pets.

You are also responsible for any loss or damage to your personal possessions.

Loss or damage to our property will be charged for and is to be paid for before departure.

Data Protection

All personal information we receive from you will be kept securely whether held electronically or on paper and will be used only for the purposes of making your booking.  We will not make any unsolicited contact with you or share your details with others.  By French law we are required to hold your information for 6 years after which time it will be deleted or destroyed.
